About Me
With over 10 years of experience in design and design operations, I am an award-winning industrial designer and a BIM lead. I currently lead Nebula, the internal design team at Nexii Building Solutions, a company that creates high-performance and sustainable building products and solutions.
As the Design Lead, I am responsible for managing and growing the design team, overseeing the design processes and tools, and ensuring the efficient and effective execution of projects.The team has successfully delivered over 32 commercial and residential buildings in the last 24 months, using various design software packages such as Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Vault, Revit, and BIM360. I have also been instrumental in transitioning the team to remote work, setting up KPIs and dashboards, and implementing a new software platform on schedule and with no disruption.
My passion for design and innovation drives me to constantly seek new challenges and opportunities to expand my expertise and impact. I have participated in several research and design partnerships with organizations such as BC Tiny House Collective and BC Hydro, where I contributed to creative and impactful design projects. I have also showcased my work at the Global Grad Show in Dubai and received the Wood Co-op/Forestry Innovation Award for my Rescued Homes Project. My educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Emily Carr University of Art and Design with an exchange semester at Design Academy Eindhoven.
When I'm not spending weekends working on my tiny house, you’ll probably find me camping, working on my motorcycle or enjoying a beer with friends.
